Salaam :)

Hey everyone, how's it going? I am new to the board and looking to gain a little more info on Islam. My first encounter with Islam came in Iraq and Kuwait in 2003 and it has been a topic of interest to me since the first time I heard the call to prayer. I have done a lot of reading about Islam in the past few years and a close friend of mine is Muslim. I was raised Catholic but I have pretty much been agnostic since I was about 17...anyways, just introducing myself and I will be taking a look around, offering my thoughts and asking a lot of questions.
