Ash-Shirk: {In short}

Shirk basically is polytheism i.e the worship of others along with Allah ta'ala.It implies attributing divine attributes to any other besides Allah ta'ala.
It particularly implies associating partners in worship with Allah ta'ala or to believe tat the source of power, harm or blessings is from other besides Allah.

There are three types of shirk

1.Ash-Shirk-al-Akbar i.e major shirk
2.Ash-Shirk-al-Asghar i.e minor shirk
3.Ash-shirk-al-Khafi i.e inconspicuos shirk

1. Ash-Shirk-Al-Akbar : THe Major Shirk - The major and serious polytheistic forms , has four aspects

a} Shirk ad dua i.e invocation. This implies invoking , Supplicating or praying other deities besides Allah ta'ala.

b} Shirk-al-Niyyah, wal iradah, Wal Qasd - This implies intentions, purpose and determination in acts of worship or religious deeds not for the sake of Allah but towards other dieties.

c} Shirk -at-Ta'ah - This aspect implies rendering obedience to any authorityy against the Order of Allah ta'ala.

d} Shirk-al-Mahabbah - This implies showig the love which is due to Allah ta'ala alone others than Him.

2. Ash-Shirk-al-Asghar : Ar-Riya

The minor Shirk i.e acts performed to show off. Any act of worship or any religious deed done in order to gain praise, fame or for wordly purposes , falls under this category.

3. Ash-Shirk-al-Khafi {The inconspicious Shirk}

This type implicates  being inwardly dissatisfied with the inevitable conditions ordained  by Allah ta'ala.; Conscientiously lamenting that had you done  or done such and such or had you approached such and such you would have a better status etc etc..

Rememeber these terms cannot be taken in broader sense as i did it earlier . Will be obliged if we discuss of it here.
