Bismillahirrahmaanerraheem

Taliban Commander Mullah Dadallah was interviewed and the video aired on Al-Jazeera TV on February 13, 2006.

Here are a few intresting quotes from the interview:

"As for the Spin Boldak operation, it was the government that carried it out. When the martyrdom-seeking operations against the government increased, and the top Afghan officials could not leave their homes, they conspired and carried out this operation. This was not a martyrdom-seeking operation. Several innocent Muslims were killed. The top officials sacrificed some of their own people in order to distort the image of the Muslims and of the Taliban. Our operations do not kill civilians."

Here's another intresting quote:
"Our terms for ending the war are that America withdraw from Iraq and Afghanistan, and that it unconditionally stop harming the Muslims. Then we will consider negotiating with them."

Interviewer: "Why do you link the issue of Afghanistan with that of Iraq and other regions?"

Mulla Dadallah: "The issue of Iraq concerns all Muslims. We are not fighting here [only] for Afghanistan, but for all the peoples of the Islamic world. The same is true for the mujahideen in Iraq. The infidels attacked the Islamic world, and every Muslim has a personal duty to help his Muslim brother. If they withdraw from Afghanistan but not from Iraq, we will fight them."

Iran. Wow.
What are you saying exactly? Are you saying that Osama Binladen and the
Taliban are not affiliated? 9/11 is just another big hoax like the Holocaust?
Would you deny your sister or your mother the right to learn a profession?
To be a doctor or a lawyer? Do you believe that you have the right to dictate
to them what is appropriate and what is not appropriate behavior? How to
dress? Where they can go and where they can't go? These are basic human
rights to deny them with out conscience is to deny them their humanity.
It is at best by definition a relationship better suited to a beloved pet than a
blood relative.

Moderators: may I suggest you file these last few posts under the humor

The only humour here is your post, as it has nothing to do with the topic.

So infact, it is Your post that must be removed from this thread!

Uncs, this chap has no knowledge of Taliban command at all. He is an American baiter. He keeps provoking people on this board. Somehow, so far no one has fallen for his bait.

ak_m_f will fill you in on that episode, my flight has been announced.

OK Whisper, so according to you, the Taliban kill civilians. You also said on some of your previous posts that my English is too good to be an Afghan (in other words, Afghans cant learn English). You also tried to portray Afghans as ruthless evil murdrers on many other posts, and then when I post a thread like this, saying that the Taliban Dont kill civilians, you come here and accuse me of being a liar and an American Agent...

You indirectly support the US and Israel by demonising their enemies, and then you accuse me of being an American or Israeli agent when I reveal some of their plans or post evidence that contradicts US and Israel accusations... Whose the real CIA/Mossad agent here ... ?

Many dead in Taliban bomb attacks

Tuesday 26 September 2006, 16:56 Makka Time, 13:56 GMT   < id=DateDisp_updateDate = name=DateDisp:updateDate> <>

The Italian troops were travelling in a coalition convoy

A bomb attack in a southern Afghan town has killed 18 people, while an Italian soldier has also died after a separate blast near the capital, Kabul.

At least six Afghan policemen or soldiers were among the dead in the attack in Lashkar Gah, the capital of Helmand province, when a bomber detonated explosives strapped to his body at the front of the governor's compound, officials said.

Many of the civilians killed were reportedly queuing to complete paperwork so that they could go on the Hajj pilgrimage to Makka.

General Mohammad Nabi Mullahkhail, the provincial police chief, said another 18 people were wounded in the attack.

A provincial government spokesman said that Afghan soldiers had spotted the bomber who was trying to get into the governor's compound. They tried to arrest him when he blew himself up near a police post.

Italian troops from the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) confirmed that there had been an explosion near the compound and said it might have been directed at forces guarding the premises.

Muhammad Hanif, a spokesman for the Taliban, later told Aljazeera that the group said it carried out the attack and that on an Italian convoy.

Convoy attacked

In the second incident, a bomb struck the convoy of Italian troops on patrol on the outskirts of the Afghan capital, killing one soldier and wounding five others, the force said.

An Afghan child travelling in a vehicle behind the convoy was also reportedly killed in the blast.

Italy has almost 2,000 troops in Afghanistan as part of the ISAF force.

Meanwhile, a third attack in the south-eastern province of Khost was averted when a bomber attempting to attack a convoy of US-led troops blew himself up prematurely, although local police officials said the man was shot dead by troops.

A US military base in Khost province was also hit by rockets, an Aljazeera correspondent in Afghanistan reported, quoting local Afghan security officials.
