This is really bad. Nobody should be banned. Yes, they can be given suspensions, but they should not be banned, you should not banish those who do wrong, suspension may help them, as during that time they may learn from their mistakes, and come back much better and changed. But nobody should be banned, this is wrong.

actually come to think of it, wasn't suspension in place before banning? a two week cool off period ?
What happened to that ?

Wow!  I think that's an outstanding idea, Superme!  Why not "suspend" them with no posting rights for a period of two weeks.  Then if they offend again, they are suspended for two months.  On the third offense, they are permanently banned.   How does that sound?

I don't know if this subject is raised in the past, if it is than just ignore this.

Is it possible if the "over the board" member or members to be given suspension instead of banning them? Just an idea, an opinion.
