Qualities Of Those Who Desire God.

    As-Salaam alaikum,   In his 'Epistle On Sufism', Imam al-Qushayri, may Allah be Merciful to him, wrote that:--

     "Those who desire God Most High have the following qualities:
     Loving supererogatory acts of piety; dispensing sincere advice
    to members of the community; feeling comfortable in retreat;
   being patient in the face of Divine Decrees, no matter how harsh;
   always obeying Divine Command; feeling ashamed under the gaze
  of God; seeking any means that can bring them closer to God; being
  happy in humility; giving the heart no rest until it attains its Lord."

    Let us strive in being among those who desire God, Almighty Lord of the Universe.
