Parents Won't Let Him Date Non Muslim Girl

   Hey there, 

I'm a non religious female that is currently talking to a Muslim male. We've both expressed our feelings for eachother but he says it's impossible to date because of his families beliefs and he doesn't want to disrespect them.

We've never felt so strongly about anyone else before, and we would be dating right now if it wasn't for his parents' beliefs and rules.

Is there any way around this?

Is there any passages from the Qur'an that I can bring up or anything at all?

There's such strong feelings between us and it makes me distraught that we can't date because of his families faith. 

Please help!
