The problem that we face today in terms of 'Interfaith Dialogue' is that people of other faiths (or even no faith at all) do not have a 'fair' and 'informed' opinion about Islam. They rely (almost entirely) on what they persistently receive from the (negatively-biased) media.

The Youtube video below gives a (somewhat) 'honest' own perception of a (respected) non-Muslim who HAS ACTUALLY read the Qur'an and done some in-depth research about the Islamic faith (these are his own views and opinions of course)... Very interesting to say the least (especially some of the questions by the audience).

Garry Wills (born May 22, 1934) is an American author, journalist, and historian, specializing in American history, politics, and religion, especially the history of the Catholic Church. He won a Pulitzer Prize for General Non-Fiction in 1993.
