Strictly speaking: ABDUS SAMI is more correct than ABDUL SAMI. This is because the letter 'S' in Arabic is a 'Solar' letter, therefore the 'L' before it is not pronounced (that is: the 'L' from the Definite Article 'AL'). For more detailed info, You can research (Google or youtube) the difference between Solar letters (or Sun letters) and Lunar letters (or Moon letters) in the Arabic language.

Both of them is correct.
Abdul Sami the original spelling in arabic. If you follow tajweed rule, you read is as ABDUS SAMI
It's the same case with ABDUL RAHMAN, you will read it as ABDUR RAHMAN |
