Rami,

It ends with two sisters gossiping.....perhaps you should wait and see what happens.  The two authors say it loosely follows their lives, so we shall see.  One thing you must also understand that this is two young muslimahs expressing themselves through art.  Hopes and fears are powerful things and often young women find themselves faced with issues they would have never dreamed possible at their age.  Like marriage while still in high school.

They should not influence there audience in negative ways when they promote themselfs as role models. role models set good examples while this cartoon does not follow basic islamic principles of drawing or pictures.

Okay, Rami, I'll bite.

How are the cartoons "unislamic"?  I need to know this, because ever other muslim that I've talked to so far has had a different opinion?

Bismillah,

Brother Rami, I thought you were being silly/facetious when I read this comment.  Aren't you just a bit?

One of the hardest parts about being a Muslim woman in America is the duty women feel to set a good example ALL the time.  What a burdern that is!  These kids are kids living their lives.  Thanks for sharing.  (If they were pefect, Allah, SWT, would take them straight up to heaven, wouldn't he?)
