Bismillah,

I did a search and couldn't find your post.

About our Beloved Prophet Jesus:  I understand the comedic nature and I laughed when I saw that years ago.  But to be faithfully religious is to be respectful of all of our Blessed Prophets.  You said yourself that it degenerated into something else.  So when we begin a small diversion from the reverence we need to hold our Prophets in, it can lead to something much worse.

one thing i totally forgot to say;...........the cartoon i described, i did not feel was insulting to jesus. i thought it pointed out the truth. i think everyone got the idea. it is critical of the europeans. however there is probably a difference in sensibilities. i wouldn't question muslum wishes in this matter myself.

Bismillah,  In the name of God,

Craig,

You type a couple of sentences, and then hit the enter key to make white space to make it easier to read.

You sign in and click edit post.  Then you select the words by putting your mouse cursor over the words and clicking the right button on the mouse.    You release the right button and choose "select all" from the menu that has popped up.

Then you click the right button on the mouse again and choose "copy".  Then you go to Discussion Forum, and choose General Discussion, an d then choose Post new topic.

You did that part before, but anyway, name your topic, begin typing your new post with a short explanation that you are reposting in to the correct category.

Hit enter and then right click, which means click the right button on your mouse, from the menu choose "Paste"  and then your copy, the words you have written already, appear in the post.  Then click post and you're done.

I've seen a lot of images of the different prophets of Islam degraded as comedic images in the press and on tv.  Muslims oppose most if not all of these.

thank you i see i put it in the wrong category. i'm not very good with this machine.there WAS one cartoon depicting jesus that i remember. it was a long time ago [1969] in the los angeles free press, [the freep]. ot was a spoof of an old game show called "what's my line?". it showed three jesuses sitting behind a table. ine of them looked like the scraggely european with the crown of thorns, next was the beautific with a halo european jesus, last was a middle eastern man with an elbow on the desk and a smile. he looked semetic. the caption reads "will the real jesus please stand up" the celebrity panel was supposed to guess. the author was ron cobb.the freep was the left wing radical poltical tabloid. i was told that it later degenerated into a porn rag. now if i can figure out how to transfer this without typing it over, i'm new at this.i don't even type well

Bismillah, In God's Name,

Dear Craig,

Go to general topics and click post a new topic and repost this.  This section is for books and stuff.

I reccommend that if you want more feedback to Capitalize the first word of your sentences and click enter every once in a while to provide white space in between the words to make them easier to focus on and read.

I think it puts our dear Prophet Jesus, May Allah Listen to Him, down to have him depicted as a white Europeon, scraggly looking fellow.  Also, he is a strong man, not wimpy.

times new roman i don't know if i have come to exactly the right place; but here goes.all of this news about how the political cartoons that show the prophet with a bomb: i havn't seen ant of them. i suppose that if there are any poiticians in the west that could be immune to any of these cartoons, they would jump at the chance.well it's not going to happen. when it comes to any religious personages, i don't remember political cartoons putting jesus down. [there have been a few, but not in the largest papers]. i don't see a problem with being polite. and being mindfull of the [religious] feelings of others. it never killed anyone to be polite. [with the exception of some emmisaries sent th kublai kahn, but there is no excuse for that either]. the conflicts in the world are not anything new, they have been very much the rule for thousands of years. however we cannot afford this any more. in the past, prople could have the worst war they wanted. there hasn't been any shortage of them. it is not the same now. the world is badly overpopulated now, and in a delicate state. the earth can only provide so much. the environmental crunch time is coming soon. if people cannot act as one for all of ov our common interests, millions of millions will die. this to me would be a great big waste of all of our struggles, for a good life. the earht; our mother, cannot recover from these things so easily any more. i have now got myself into all kinds of trouble with president bush. i'm not trying to commit treason or anything. you must know a lot of people have not liked these wars. if you don't mind the president looking over our shoulders, bring issues, i will see what i can say. i do not think there are any throw away groups of people in the world. it has to work for everyone. i'm sure it will take a lot of forebearance on the part of everyone. these things have never been easy for anyone. just look at history.

Bismillah,

You're welcome!  Check out the beautiful synagogue in the south west.  This book is old.  I guess it is a museum now since all the Jews have gone to Phalasteen.
