How to protect my kid?

   I am looking for an answer how to protect my kid in the Internet. Now he's 9 and he started to using the Internet mostly for educational purposes only. I just want to be sure that he's not gonna see an inappropriate content there. What methods do you use to keep you kids safe?

	Salam, You can use parental control. One of them is here: http://www.safedns.com You can filter sites to whatever you need (such as no porn, no violaent, no gambling etc)

	Hi Amandi, The first thing I can tell you is that you should firstly talk with your kid. Tell him why the security in the Internet is so important and learn him how to use it properly. Then you can use some third-party software like semar said. Personaly I am using PCWebControl to keep a hand over my kid's activity in the net. 	Assalamalecum,don't allow him to use internet till his school ends.i m the example I didn't use internet throughout my school life and Alhamdulillah Allah saved me from many addictions,ch 2 v 216 of Quran-u may love a thing which is bad for u, u may hate a thing which is good for u but Allah only knows what is best for u.
