How to find the Light from the Darkness

Allah Subhana Wa Ta'ala created the earth for human beings and the Jinn to live in. So from the very beginning satan has been deceiving mankind and people then forget God and fall into transgression.

Sahih International

But Satan caused them to slip out of it and removed them from that [condition] in which they had been. And We said, "Go down, [all of you], as enemies to one another, and you will have upon the earth a place of settlement and provision for a time."
2:36

Then Allah Subhana Wa Ta'ala through His infinite Mercy sends Messengers and Prophets to guide the people. On occasions He sends down His Revelation to mankind giving them Laws and rules in how to live a life pleasing to Allah Subhana Wa Ta'ala and how human beings can try and attain Paradise.

Sahih International

We said, "Go down from it, all of you. And when guidance comes to you from Me, whoever follows My guidance - there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.
2:38

But how can one find this guidance? When we all follow the ways of our fathers for generations and generations how can one find God? If we try to go another way from this well established deception by satan we are ridiculed and banished as if we are traitors.

The answer is we find the revelations of Allah Subhana Wa Ta'ala because it is the ONLY Truth. Everything else is falsehood.

Sahih International

It is He who sends down upon His Servant [Muhammad] verses of clear evidence that He may bring you out from darknesses into the light. And indeed, Allah is to you Kind and Merciful.
57:9

But how does a common man find this Truth?

We have to search for it. We have to have guidance from the Most Merciful.

Sahih International

[He sent] a Messenger [Muhammad] reciting to you the distinct verses of Allah that He may bring out those who believe and do righteous deeds from darknesses into the light. And whoever believes in Allah and does righteousness - He will admit him into gardens beneath which rivers flow to abide therein forever. Allah will have perfected for him a provision.
65:11

	Assalamalecum,we can have guidance from Allah when there is intention in us to follow path of Allah, as Allah says in ch 29 v 69 that if u strive in the way of Allah, Allah will open pathways for you.
