Assalaamualikum all,
Hope everyone is doing well. I just had a question about non-alcoholic beer/wine. Recently, a friend of mine asked me if I knew about such drinks. Since Islam doesn't permit drinking alcohol, would it not be okay to drink non-alcoholic beer/wine. So I looked up online and according to the process it says that the "alcohol part" of the drink is taken out. My question is, would these drinks be halal after that part? Or that is stretching the truth too far (ex: using wine while cooking since it gets evaporated). I have not used wine in cooking, nor have I tasted the non-alcoholic beer/wine. Sorry for the long Note :( I just was confused and didn't know who to ask. |
