i know it is haram to keep dogs inside the house, but i have a misunderstanding about it.
i want to know is it because of dog slava. |

As-salaam alaikum. Yes, the saliva of dogs is considered to be impure. We are not allowed to keep dogs as pets, but they are allowed to be kept as guard dogs or hunting dogs.
