Aslam o Alikym Muslim Brothers and Sisters..

This is my first post and I have just joined the forum...

I happen to roam around internet and try to answer Islamic Questions with authentic knowledge I have and Try to spread the Message of Islam...

Dear People

Arabic word "Munir"

Can any Arab disect & breakdown its possiable meanings and How its Root is Nur Please?

Good Day to people and Aslam o Alykum.

Word Munir is from Nur or Noor..

What does Mu means in this?

it think its formed as Mu+nir and does it means reflection of light?

Its regarding the ayah..

لَّهُمْ فِيهَا مَا يَشَاءُونَ خَالِدِينَ كَانَ عَلَىٰ رَبِّكَ وَعْدًا مَّسْئُولًا

Blessed is the One Who made towers in the heaven and He made in it a lamp and an illuminating moon. (25:16)
I have cited some dictonaries also..

Please give me a good answer .. its for my paper thanks.
