Only music which is played before idols is haram. Also haram is the music that creates lust feelings about sex.
You can listen to any music that provides a catharsis or is in praise of Allah or his prophet saw. Some clerics want to make life miserable when Allah has made life easy for us. Muhammad Javed Iqbal |

Aslamualikum,
i am proud to be a muslim. i like to enjoy music . but i learned that in islam songs and musics are prohibited. i asked why to many people.but not get the answer that satisfy me .. can any one explain why songs or musics are prohibited in ISLAM. |
