Assalamlecum WA rehmatullahi WA barakhatahu.Allah mentions in Surah Al Isra ch 17 v 23-24-worship only Allah there is nobody like him,but the next thing to this is to have a good behaviour towards parents,Allah says if your parents in your presence reaches senescence then you should respect them and should not utter even ooff and pray to Allah to shower his mercy and blessings on them in the same way they had raised you.from this verse we meant that there is no concept of old age home in Islam.Allahfiz

You are absolutely right. We are required to thank Allah
the most, then His last prophet and then our parents. As parents sacrify lot of time and resources to bring up and educate us. It is a sign of good luck, if old parents are living with us. Or we can visit them often and take good care of them regularly. |
