This, I found very interesting.

The ka'aba of Zoroaster

I am involved in an interesting study of Darius, the king of Persia... gentle ruler... one of the first not to slaughter when he conquered.  Seems people have been evolving, from contact with one another, for a very long time.
I wonder when the ka'aba in Mecca was really first built.

The Vedas (Sanskrit vda वेद, "knowledge") are a large body of texts originating in ancient India. Composed in Vedic Sanskrit, the texts constitute the oldest layer of  Sanskrit literature and the oldest scriptures of Hinduism. The Vedas are apauruṣeya ("not of human agency"). They are supposed to have been directly revealed, and thus are called śruti ("what is heard"), distinguishing them from other religious texts, which are called smṛti ("what is remembered").

The Vedas are among the oldest sacred texts. The Samhitas date to roughly 15001000 BCE, and the "circum-Vedic" texts, as well as the redaction of the Samhitas, date to c. 1000-500 BCE, resulting in a Vedic period, spanning the mid 2nd to mid 1st millennium BCE, or the Late Bronze Age and the Iron Age.

Transmission of texts in the Vedic period was by oral tradition alone, preserved with precision with the help of elaborate mnemonic techniques.

Hindus believe that the texts(the Vedas) were received by scholars direct from God and passed on to the next generations by word of mouth.
