Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei told :Iran
took a large boost from the robust defense of the nation and the Armed Forces
during the 8
years
Sacred Defense "The Islamic System even at time when it was enduring an
imposed military aggression by Saddam and his supporters never considered to
invade or occupy any other country" . "The aggressive policies of the world
domineering powers must ring alarm bells for all nations that they must boost
their internal structure and acquire necessary preparations" Ayatollah
Khamenei said that the enemies would not dare attack the great Iranian nation "Every
one has realized that the enemies of the Iranian nation could not dare attack
the great Iranian nation because they know they would enter a field which is
impossible to leave" Ayatollah Khamenei then made mention of the invasion
of Iraq and Afghanistan by the US aggressors saying that the occupiers arrived
in Iraq carrying message of security and freedom but the Iraqi people have
endured an otherwise situation " The Iraqi people have endured the worst
and most insecure conditions in their life span because the identity of the
superpowers is rooted in impiety occupation and insecurity" Ayatollah Khamenei
said adding that the Islamic System has tracked the pitfall and thereby has
adopted its current firm stance towards the superpower 2008/05/0 1 |

What we saw in the case of Iraq for example, was a dictator who used to be bad to his people, to those who opposed him. That dictator had an outside support, the US. The US used him in war against Iran. At a later stage, when he refused to listen to the US, he was taken out in the name of freedom for the people of Iraq. Today after loosing hundreds of thousands of precious lives, utter destruction of infrastructure and basic essentials in their country, they live in worse conditions and fear then ever since Genghis (Changhiz)Khan.
This would have never been repeated in Libya, but it did, Afghanistan, Pakistan, now Syria, next Iran. what's after that? Sometimes, when you have to choose between evils, lesser is the better choice. Hasan Edited by honeto - 13 August 2012 at 4:30pm |

Doesn't the Qur'an say to assist a brother in fighting oppresors?
Narated By Anas : Allah's Apostle said, "Help your brother, whether he is an oppressor or he is an oppressed one. People asked, "O Allah's Apostle! It is all right to help him if he is oppressed, but how should we help him if he is an oppressor?" The Prophet said, "By preventing him from oppressing others." - Sahih Bukhari Volume 003, Book 043, Hadith Number 624. Who fulfills the command of this Hadith? |

Better for the people to have lived under the tyrannical rule of Assad patiently, rather than blood flowing into the streets, widows, orphans, and a chaotic uncertain future. Wallahu Mustaan.

and so what are your views?
I think everyone knows what is going on there. I weep when I see the pictures... the destruction, the deaths, the dying, the wounded... for me it is an inconceivable thing. |
