That list is quite exhausting.  I think a lot of common sense is really required in relation to a relationship.

Umm Ziba

Your "hijacked" article was excellent. Jazakallahukhairan, wish i had found it before i got married, but so what , i can pass it to others Insha Allah.

It is definitely important to ask questions before marriage, so that things are clear from the beginning and so that you can place conditions in your marriage contract if necessary. Insha Allah many people might be saved from probable heartache...

wassalaam....

Assalamu Alaikum Sisters:

The list is very good, but keep in mind that just because you ask the question doesn't mean he will answer 100% honestly. Especially about the abuse issues. It is very difficult for men to admit in a meeting that their father hit their mom, or vice versa, as they might see this as betraying a trust. It is very important to ask around and find out the Brothers standing in the community, etc....

P.S. as far as "cool" movies go, The Matrix was the coolest...

Summarizing, will you be polite and nice to me always? Because we all should, you know.

Showing affection in public isn't so common.Arguing and insulting each otherin public seems to be something lots of us do.

Also, there is not a single question about sexuality. Or maybe I missed it. Bascially, what are the rules and restrictions as you understand them, and you do intend to follow them, right?

Some people find it important to actually talk to an ex-spouse of their intended.

Someone mighthate NFL, but a husband who liked such nonsense would be better than an abusive, cruel person.

I think it will be eaiser if we print it on paper and make then give this Exam?

thank you sunny.

sistas, don't you think that it's better to have some long-term relationship in permitted way before making a decision and thus learn who he is? go his home, see also how he walks into the bathroom, how he cooks, what's like his bedroom, how he behaves among his friends, etc?
and, where is the question about virginity?
