The dynamic casimir effect has been observed last year (http://www.technologyreview.com/blog/arxiv/26813/).
Basically, by moving a mirror at relativistic speeds the researchers were able to "produce light out of nothing". (IANAQP but this covers the gist of it). Expelling photons creates force, and so in theory it's possible to propel a spacecraft (or generate electricity/steam) but I wonder how much energy is spent on moving the mirrors at the speeds reqired |

That is truly mashaallah for such young woman to reach that level of achievement. Hopefully their respective government give support for her and others as well.
