A team of Spanish, Brit, Turkish, Pakistani, Indian and possibly some American entusiasts are putting together a regular film on Guantanamo Bay. The project is based on the real life stories of British and few other inmates released from Gitmo and other US sponsored torture centres in the world. It should be completed in three months of shooting at locations now being decided. We would welcome anyone who could lend us a hand or some input on the subject - without any fear of any kind. |

Talk to us about the thousands of communist sponsored torture centres around the world...I'd be interested to hear you compare and contrast them with Guantanamo...thanks for your attention.. Where the Coalition has erred they need to be corrected (and have been) by the force of public opinion - this is the difference between what has happened there and in the communist and other totalitarian prisons - and this under extremely trying circumstances. There is no excuse for inhumanity (torture). But since you, your father and grandfather have been active in communist causes, I'd be interested to hear you compare and contrast these things...since you obviously are 'slamming the US/Coalition' in this post.. Bruce, everything in our world is not just run on some pre-packaged partisan lines. And, thank God, most people in our world still think and act with concience, morality or with intellect. I have informed you elsewhere that the Communist Party did not exist in my grandfather's day. And, even if it did, there would have been no need for a Khanzadeh (Ruler of a Khanate) to join any party at all. I promise you upon my scout's honour, he could actually think, perhaps for the sheer fact that he was no American, he could also think beyond some flag and his own coat of arms. Above all, he was a humanitarian. You jump to conclusions. And, obviously can only ever measure anyone anywhere in the world by the limitation of your personality. Sit down as this may come to you as a shock - my father left the Communist Party the day Soviets invaded Czekoslovakia in 1968. People do such sort of things. They do change their views and even loyalties but only if they have the capacity to see beyond their noses. Are you Christian? Wasn't Jesus' message, teachings, concerns socialist? Or, you are just one of those millions of Americans who take "God helps those who help themselves" as a divine message? This group is dealing purely with the present, not with world history. You may not know when the Soviets were occupying our country, we treated then exactly the same way as we are treating the US. BTW; the Commies also came in with excuses similar to the US excuses. They had also placed their puppet in Kabul. It may be extremely difficult for you to understand that all people in our world do not just die for a fistfull of dollars. Some die for their freedom from the F E R E N G I. I know that's something absolutely impossible to fit into any limited Neo Con head, not just yours. I know I am wasting my time. But for some reason I am feeling a bit generous this morning and also far more sympathetic for your condition and how more and more people view the US of A. |

Talk to us about the thousands of communist sponsored torture centres around the world Just indicate (that means, point out) three and we wil deal with those also in the same breath. We are dealing with torture and above any partisan considerations. We are human beings, not just Americans who are known for tolerating, in fact sponsoring dictators just for their interests. We rae a group of intellectuals not some Neo Con petroleum thugs and rogues. |
