Ramadan Project 2005

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu

Narrated Abu Hurayrah:

Allah's Messenger said, "Ramadan, a blessed month, has come to you during which Allah has made it obligatory for you to fast. In it the gates of Heaven are opened, the gates of al-Jahim are locked, and the rebellious devils are chained. In it Allah has a night which is better than a thousand months. He who is deprived of its good has indeed suffered deprivation."

With the gates of Jannah opening soon, we must take advantage of this opportunity to come together and celebrate the most powerful time of the year.

Fluidvisions Creative Marketing, with UIC MSA as the official sponsor, will hold Chicagos first ever Ramadan Project, inshaAllah on October 1st. This will be an opportunity to explore the creative talent that our community has to offer.

Ramadan Project: Shades of Ramadan serves to enhance spirituality as you prepare for Ramadan. The event will be held at Pick-Staiger Concert Hall (50 Arts Circle Drive, Evanston) at the Northwestern campus and will begin promptly at 6:00pm.

You will be left mesmerized by the communitys best performing artists as they showcase their talents in brilliant fashions to celebrate the days of mercy, the days of forgiveness, and the days of emancipation. Beautiful recitation, exhilarating poetry, spiritual songs, and much more await you on this night of inspiration.

Fluidvisions is also bringing this wonderful event to Michigan! On September 17th, the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center in Dearborn will host the 2nd annual Ramadan Project, insha'Allah.

This is a very large event and tickets WILL SELL OUT QUICKLY.  This night to remember will open your eyes to the wonderful blessings of Ramadan.  Tickets are $25 and will be available at your local masjid, at ISNA, or online at www.ramadanproject.com.

Join us as we take you on a wonderful journey through the colorful shades of Ramadan.

Jazak Allah Khair

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu
