Assalamu alaikum.

It is our actions definitely that will make one enter paradise. We are all striving for that.
However, our actions fall short of the Sunna. One day the holy Apostle was inside the mosque when a Sahaba performed a Nafl prayer. When he finished the holy Apostle told him to repeat the prayer for he performed Ruku' not according to his Sunna. He repeated and the holy Apostle told him to repeat again. On the third attempt he performed the Ruku' properly and the holy Apostle told him that his prayer is now accepted.
Yesterday, I was watching Alafasy station in Arab Satellite Tv when Abdarrahman bin Abdal Khaliq mentioned the incident in which Ibn Mas'ud (actually I just tuned the station at that time) saw a man performing Salat. When the man finished he asked him for how long he had been praying in that manner. He told him for fourty years. Ibn Mas'ud told him. "You have not performed ANY PRAYER." Has anyone ever read the 'The common mistakes during prayer" by Mashhur Hassan Salman in which he enumerated close to 460 mistakes during prayer. Who again has read the book of Dr. Sadlani? Let us learn more of the sunna than wasting our time understanding polemics and rhetorics!
