ALLAH's Creation... The House Fly

In Ref. to The Quran Chapter 22: verse 73.

Bismillah

In all there are over 120,000 species of flies ranging in size from 1/20th of an inch to well over three inches.

One of the things that separate Flies ( Diptera) from other flying insects are their wings. Flies are the only insects that have only two. All other insects have four wings.

Flies don't bite or sting. They have neither teeth nor a stinger. Flies thrust a needle like spike into their victims and injects adigestive juice that breaks down the victims cell tissue. They then suck the liquid in to injest it.

Some facts about ALLAH's creation the House Fly.

A flies wings beat 200 times per second.
Flies don't grow. They are born full size.
Flies have 4000 lenses in each eye.

Flies jump up and backwards when taking off.
Average speed of a fly in flight is 4.5 m.p.h..
 Flies smell with their antennae.
Flies are the only insect to have 2 wings - all others have 4
House flies' feet are 10 million times more sensitive to the taste of sugar than the human tongue
House flies walk upside down using glue-oozing toe pads
To land upside down on the ceiling, flies grab it with their front legs and then somersault the rest of their body over
A fly beats its wings 200 times a second, 3 times faster than a hummingbird
The favourite colour of house flies is red, followed by orange, black, violet, green, blue, white and yellow
The sex of a bush fly can be determined by the distance between its eyes ( female eyes are wider apart)
Flies can lay 200 - 3000 eggs in a life time
A female fly will lay 75 - 150 eggs per batch and she may lay several batches over a few days
Fly eggs hatch into maggots within 24 hours
House flies can travel up to six miles in 24 hours, but they usually prefer to stay close by their breeding ground.

The House Fly - Life Cycle

These are the four distinct stages in an average house fly's life:

Egg: Depending on the size of a female house fly, she can lay up to 500 eggs in a three to four day period. Eggs are white in color and are usually less than half and inch in size.

Larvae: Larvae are commonly referred to as maggots. Maggots emerge from the eggs within eight to 20 hours of being laid. Larvae begin eating whatever they can find in the area they were laid. They prefer warm, moist environments to grow in.

Pupa: After about four to 10 days, a maggot will move to higher, drier ground to move into the pupa stage of its life. This process take about three to six days and is where the maggot encases inself in a reddish-brown skin where the final stages of development take place.

Adult: Once the adult house fly hatches from the pupal stage, it has an approximate life span of 15 to 30 days. Females are able to start producing eggs after two days of life and will continue to lay eggs for about a month. Female house flys are usually larger than the males.

ALLAH (swt) says; O mankind! Here is an example, so listen carefully. Those deities whom you call besides ALLAH, cannot create a single fly, even if they all combined their forces, rather, if a fly snatches away anything from them, they cannot even get it back; how feebleminded are the suppliants and how powerless are those whom they supplicate! They do not render to ALLAH the homage due to Him; in fact, ALLAH is the One Who is All-Powerful, All-Mighty. [Al-Hajj 22: 73- 74]
And whoever seeks a religion other than Islm, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers(3:85)
