salaams Hope!!

i feel the sameway. as a former christian myself i fully understand. so did the Christ these are teachings atributed to him, and they echo the same consern:
  1. Mark 7:8
You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to the traditions of men."
  2. Mark 7:9
And he said to them: "You have a fine way of setting aside the commands of God in order to observe your own traditions!

unfortunately traditions are hard to let go of. Guess thats the weak human in so many of us. Wouldnt it be great if we could just follow our religion and forsake some harmful traditions that are completely against the teachings of Islam.
It will never happen of course. And why there is so much hardship and misunderstanding in the world.
It makes no difference what colour or caste system we are from. In jannah all our traditions will be non-existant.
some of us are a lot like cement:- all mixed up and permanently set

Asslamu ALikum .. Welocme to Islam brother Nazarene.Allah be praised.
You amazed me . So it is not in Islamic societies only!!
All messengers of Allah peace be upon them, have the same message to lead the mankind into the truth. There's no God but Allah.

That's nothing to do with the traditions that're against Islam.

Yeah .. sisters In jannah all our traditions will be non-existant.
May Allah be pleased.
And whoever seeks a religion other than Islm, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers(3:85)
