Assalamu alaikum.
 
Ali ibn Abi Talib left this advice to us. He said, "O the one seeking knowledge! Indeed knowledge has many sides and angles:
1. Its summit is humbleness.
2. Its (eyes) guidance running away from jealousy.
3. Its ears understanding.
4. Its tongue sidq (attesting the truth).
5. Its safeguard seeking information.
6. Its heart good intention.
7. Its comprehension knowing something and sticking to what is obligatory.
8. Its hand is Rahama.
9. Its legs or it spread numerous teachers.
10. Its aim is to make one free from stain and vices.
11. Its entailment is Wara'a (piety).
12. Its aim is deliverance.
13. It leads to well - being.
14. Its objective is fullfilment.
15. Its weapon is soft speech.
16. Its sword is pleasure.
17. Its aim is in compliance.
18. Its army is elucidation by the educated.
19. Its wealth is obedience.
20. Its food is running away form sin.
21. Its provision is justice.
22. Its water is gentleness.
23. Its argument is guidance.
24. Its companion is sitting with noble people.
The Sahabas said, "This knowledge is a way of life. Be careful on the one you listen to".
