Assalamu Alaikum,

As we watch the news and see the catastrophic events unfold in Palestine today, we must ask ourselves how much do we really know about Palestine and why is it loved to us, the Muslims so much.

In this lecture delivered by Sheikh Shady Alsuleiman, he touchs on this subject and discusses .

Join us and listen to the lecture,

Assalamu alaikum.

Response: I have listened to some part of the lecture of Shaykh Shady Alsuleiman. I do not understand the substance because the Shurut of attesting i.e the Pillar of Iman is not on the ground. Yes, to believe in Allah is to hold the Shari'a in your heart and your mouth. To believe in Muhammad is to put the meaning he gave to the Ayat Muhkumat their practical meaning using the limbs in every ones daily activity. It is the latter that we do not see among the Muslim Umma. To understand the meaning of Kalimat Shahada, one is required to know the conditions (about six Shurut) that must be present before it is of any practical value in the Muslim Umma. What I meant is we must know the difference betwen Sahha and Sawab. An Ibadat is Sahha if it is performed as commanded by Allah. It is Sawab if performed according to the Sunna of Muhammad Rasulullah. It is the latter that Allah recognizes and not the former. So who is the represntative of Muhammad Rasulullah? The one who cannot make Fatwa in his Umma and to enforce the Sunna of Muhammad? One of the condtions of leadership in Islam is that the one selected must a Mujtahid independent of the Ulama.
Friendship.
