Thankyou Seeks! Today was a public holiday in Pakistan - in honour of the win! Smile
As for the answer, I believe it was Zaid Bin Thabit - who was a very intelligent sahabi, and was very good at Qur'anic recitation. He learnt Hebrew at the Prophet's request and used to translate correspondence from the Jews for him.

Next question

Who was the sahaba, whom Prophet {Sallal lahu alayhi wasallam} asked to learn Hebrew language and he learnt it in just 15 days ?

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: All the descendants of Adam are sinners, and the best of sinners are those who repent."

Wa'alaikum salaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu

I think it was Hazrat Bilal (R.A) who killed Ummayah bin Khalaf at the battle of Badr.
