being a palestinian.
we do not hate jews because theu are jews. we only hate those who kill us and destroy everything in our lives; read this: life here is very difficult.. unbearable.. wherever you go you find destroyed houses, uprooted trees, ruined infrastructure, orphans, widows.. people are generally deprived of their rights to live a descent life.. for instance, on the Eid Muslim feast the Zionists killed a little boy who was playing with a toy gun � hundreds of kids were brutally slain by the Jews� moreover, people can't move from one place to another� political leaders and educated people are murdered brutally too� however, people believe in the right of return� we believe that one day� sooner or later� the occupied land will be restored by any means necessary� we have the hope to be free� we have a dream that we will soon live a good, bearable life� a life without blood� without suffering without crimes� without the noises of the Zionist F16's and helicopters� without the sounds of bullets day and night� we have a dream that sooner we will be free� that our kids will go to their schools easily� that the schools that were destroyed will be built once again� we are keen to achieve freedom, we do know that freedom is not a cheap item� we have to pay�. we have to sacrifice� we have to work hard to comfort the tens of hundreds of orphans� and the thousands of disabled kids � to work hard to make them lead a life without suffering. Zionists have deprived us of everything beautiful� they spoiled our life� they killed everything.. leaders, kids, school kids� they murdered happiness and planted terror and fear� they killed our schools and our trees�. that is why we will never forget � we will never forgive� if this generation forgets what the Jews have done, then they next generation will never forget� people might say we hate Jews because they are Jews. Never. And history itself testifies this. We only hate jews who kill us and who want to wipe us out of the map. you know why the next generation will not forget or forgive�?? because almost half of them are either orphans of physically disabled� all of them has looked death in its face� all if them saw their friends or loved ones cry over beloved ones� we suffered, we are suffering, we might suffer!!! but this journey of suffering will not remain for ever we dream and we work hard. we sacrifice and soon our dream will come true BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY so let all pray for peace-- for peace based on justice and loce. Assalamu alaikum, Palestine: thank you for posting the glimse of life in Palestine. This kind of testimony of what is happening there needs to be more widely circulated. People need to know the real story from the real people it is happening to. May Allah shower you and your family with His Mercy and Blessings.
A dear friend of mine is Palestinian, born and raised in Al quds. Her husband was born and raised in Nablus. They both have parents there and some family. They have lived in the west for 11 years, all the while their hearts ache to be at "home". They will visit this summer, as they do about every other year. While there, they must stay with first one set of parents and then the other - they cannot travel back and forth freely, even for that short a distance. Their four children don't want to go, they'd rather be here with their friends, this breaks my friends heart to pieces. A people shouldn't have to leave their land to be safer. A people shouldn't have to put up with the check points, humiliation, killing, and extreme hatred that permeates the holy land. My friends wish they could move back home but they know what will face them there. You can see the depth of sadness and broken heart in my friends beautiful face. She thought she would only have to live over here a few years and then they'd go back, but, now her husband no longer feels it would be good for their kids, so she is resigned to living here with a broken heart. How do you explain to children what is happening to their people? How do you choose between a life of relative safety and freedom to practice your faith and a life of insanity 'back home'? My friend says she can see the change that has overtaken the people back home, a kind of survival of the fittest scenario has taken over the place and people are deeply affected by the way they must live. I have always felt for the Palestinian cause, even before becoming a Muslim. I hate injustice. Now that I have friends from there and have talked to people from there, the reality of the situation becomes so much more real and horrifying! I believe all Muslims should FEEL for any Muslim who is living a life of injustice. We should all do whatever we can to help ease their suffering. Whether that Muslim is living next door or on the other side of the world, we need to DO something, anything that we can. Pray, think, DO something! Peace, ummziba. Edited by ummziba |

To live in Palestine now is to live in fear and frustration. The leaders of Palestine and the leaders of Israel are still playing political games. Israeli Arabs have been successful the past few days getting food into the occupied Palestine but it's a daunting project. Fighting breaks out between Fatah and Hamas militants. Foes and freind pressure alike and it is the children who ultimately suffer. I am ashamed to say I lack the courage to go in by myself and help on the ground. My leaders claim it is unwise to let go of it's strangle hold on Palestine while the Hamas still calls for the annihilation of all Israel. Hamas won't recognize the state of Israel as a basic principal. It is important for us civilians to keep the lines of communication open to ease the suffering of at least the children. Hurting them hurts all our futures. Trusts are being set up to restore basic services such as hospitals water and power. It is being done in a way to bypass the hands of the Hamas. It is the belief among those who fear Palestine that we have an address of Palestinian leadership that leads to either criminals or Fanatics. Edited by Daniel Dworsky |

Bismillah, Daniel, thank you for all that you do accomplish. We appreciate it and may Allah, The Most Loving, reward you and protect you and your family. I heard a minister for Hamas (I think of Housing) speak about a month ago stating that the PA had already recognized Israel's existence. This was clearly compliance with the Israeli leaders insistence on Hamas recognition of their existence. But the reporter said: Once again, Hamas refuse to recognize Israel. This word play supports the devastation of humans continously. |

Yeah there is something to that. Hamas also offered a cease fire provided Israel returned to the 67 borders. It's Chutspah but they were Talking and not shooting. Bombing those two buses in Tel Aviv during the Rabin administration and then dancing around burning paper mache' buses in Ramalah really locked these people out of my heart. I'm a pragmatist. I figure you don't make peace with friends you make peace with enemies. I'll happily withdraw to the 67 borders but I'm not having these guys over for tea... Edited by Daniel Dworsky |
