Bi ismillahir rahmanir raheem
18. Hadhrat Abdullah Ibn Umar (radiallahu anhu) narrates that Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: Everything has a polish, and the polish of the heart is the Thikr of Allah. (Baihaqi) 19. Hadhrat Ibn Abbas (radiallahu anhu) narrates that Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: Shaitaan sits glued to the heart of man. When man makes the Thikr of Allah, shaitaan abdicates (moves off); when man is negligent of Allahs Thikr the shaitaan casts evil whisperings in man. (Bukhaari) 20. Hadhrat Ibn Umar (radiallahu anhu) narrates that Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: Do not increase speech other than Thikrullah because much speech besides Thikrullah hardens the heart; the furthest from Allah is one with a hard heart. (Tirmizi) The essence of the latter three ahadith cited above, is that actual purity of heart is by means of righteous deeds and hardness of heart is the result of evil acts. The basis of both forms of deeds in the intention of the heart while the origin of iraadah (intention) is the mind. Reduction in Thikr brings about the introduction of satanic thoughts in the mind. This in turn leads to evil intentions. Pious intentions are the effaced. Instead of practicing righteous deeds, evil is committed. Abundance of Thikrullah blocks the entry of evil thoughts. This in turn does not allow evil intentions to assert themselves. One then abstains from sin and engages in righteous deeds. Hardness of heart is thus eliminated and purity inculcated. This state of purity of the heart is not automatically acquired, but requires effort and striving. To be contented with only Thikr without striving. To be contented with only Thikr without striving against the lowly desires, is only self-deception. taken from the article remebering Allah in abundance". Edited by rami |

Bi ismillahir rahmanir raheem
The Prophet said: "If your hearts were always in the state that they are in during dhikr, the angels would come to see you to the point that they would greet you in the middle of the road." Muslim narrated it. Imam Nawawi in his Sharh sahih muslim commented on this hadith saying: "This kind of sight is shown to someone who persists in meditation (muraqaba), reflection (fikr), and anticipation (iqbal) of the next world." |

Allah made us the best. If you do not bother with the Jinn or Jinn-like things and learn a few Dua's, you should be fine. Adam knew all the names of Allah's creatures when others did not.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ My Brothers in faith, Angels don't have the characteristics of devils, and devils do not have the characteristics of angels, but humans can have the characteristics of both. Every human being born to this earth has been given a companion, namely angel and jinn. The jinn who accompanies humans from birth is to tempt and mislead humans, therefore, this jinn is called a devil. Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam said: ما منكم من £حد إلاوقد وكل به قرينه من الجن “Every one of you has been sent to him a "qorin" (companion) from the jinn.” (Narrated by: Muslim) Imam An-Nawawi said, "In this hadith there is a strong warning against the temptations of the jinns and their whispers. The Prophet Shallallaahu 'Alaihi Wasallam told that jinn was always with us, and we must always be vigilant as much as you can." (Syarh Shahih Muslim, 17: 158) Based on the Quran and sunnah, it can be concluded that the jinn who are always with us are misleading, disturbing, and also whispering anxiety. The temptation of this jinn will weaken according to the strength of faith in a person. And the way to protect ourselves from the jinn is by means of many dhikr and asking for protection from Allah, and if we truly do this, Insya Allah, there will come protection from Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. Allah said: وَإِمَّا يَنزَغَنَّكَ مِنَ الشَّيْطٰنِ نَزْغٌ فَاسْتَعِذْ بِاللهِ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ “And if an evil whisper comes to you from Satan, then seek refuge with Allah. Verily, He is All-Hearer, All-Knower.” (Al A’Raf 7:200) In addition to dhikr, we also often read the Quran so that jinn do not interfere. وَمَن يَعْشُ عَن ذِكْرِ الرَّحْمٰنِ نُقَيِّضْ لَهُۥ شَيْطٰنًا فَهُوَ لَهُۥ قَرِينٌ “And whosoever turns away blindly from the remembrance of the Most Gracious Allah (The Quran and worship to Allah), We appoint for him satan to be a Qarin (a companion) to him.” (Az-Zuhruf 43:36) On that basis, we must be able to equip ourselves continuously in order to have a powerful weapon to fight and dispel the internal enemies of humans. Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam said: "A mujahid / fighter is one who is able to strive to subdue his passions to obey Allah's commands.” (Narrated by: Bukhari and Muslim ) Jazakallahu Khair |

"Every human being born to this earth has been given a companion, namely angel.."
What textual evidence can you give for the above assertion? You supported 'given a jinn' with a hadith, but didn't mention any reference for angel. |
