SignReader, I think those automatic translation places are the ones which
have done such a good job mangling MAHDI�s posts so far! These
programmes are very limited, and when they find no translation for a
word, they often simply leave it in the original. Thus we have such gems
as: �close(united) conditions(states)� which is the literal translation of the
word �united� (close together) and �states� (�condition�, as in: �what is your
condition?�)

Or this one: �the wind traera the freedom of pakistan,� �traera� is the
future tense of �to bring� and obviously the translator programme has
difficulty with verbs, so it just left the original Spanish in there!

Another one: �The Islamic prompt world habra revolt,� the translation has
chosen to use �prompt� rather than soon, (not to mention leaving it in the
same place as it would have been in the original Spanish instead of
saying �the Islamic world will soon�) and that word �habra� is the Spanish
for �will have� �

For those who can't follow what amounts to a private exchange: I offered
to translate MAHDI's message and he took this to mean I could translate
some of the articles he has posted links to. (!) One of these, is an
interview with an ex-Marine describing his experiences as a trained killer
in Iraq. Mahdi claims he personally has "sent people to fight" and I have
just warned him that he could be breaking the law, since it is illegal in
Spain (and I believe every where else) to send jihadis to fight in Iraq,
Aghanistan or anywhere else ....


I have told Mahdi that to even engage in a discussion of the difference
between a Marine in Iraq and someone he has allegedly sent there to
fight, we both risk jail, and that this forum is a Sunni site where his
ideology may clash with others. I have told him this forum is essentially to
discuss ideas and viewpoints, not somewhere to prosletyse your ideology
or recruit.
