Wasalaam Aleikum Bismillah Knowledge Is Better Than Wealth 'Uthmaan (radhi-yallaahu 'anhu) said: Knowledge is better than wealth; Knowledge protects you and you (have to) protect wealth. [al-Khateeb in al-Faqeeh wal-Mutafaqqih - Volume 1, Page 15;Mabaahith fee Ahkaam al-Fatwa - Page 12] Allaah will raise those who have believed among you and those who were given knowledge by degrees [Surah al-Mujaadilah: 58:11] Those Who Are Astray At the end of Surah al-Faatihah (1:7): ..nor the way of those who went astray [such as the Christians]. Those who are astray: are those who act without knowledge. They strive hard in worship but they are upon a path other than that of the Messenger (salalaahu alayi wa sallam), such as the innovators and people of superstitions. They strive hard in worship for which Allaah has not sent down authority and act upon things that the Prophet (salalaahu alayi wa sallam) never came with. (Explanation from A Glimpse of the Deviated Sects by Sheikh Saaleh al-Fawzaan page 17) They are those who are misguided and their actions are rejected as the Messenger (salalaahu alayi wa sallam) said: Whoever does a deed that has not been ordered by us will have it rejected.
[Reported by Imaam Ahmad in his Musnad (6/180, 146, 256) and al-Bukhaari in Kitaabul Ittisaam (13/391) and others.]. These are the daaloon (those who went astray) and amongst those who have gone astray are the Christians and all those who worship Allaah upon ignorance and misguidance, even if their intention was good. [A Glimpse at the Deviated Sects by Sheikh Saaleh al-Fawzaan page 18]. Those Who Fear Allaah it is only those who have knowledge (Ilm) amongst His slaves that fear Allaah.. [Surah Faatir (35):28] Knowledge remains whilst material things vanish Abu Hurayrah (radialluhuhanu), was from amongst the poorest of the Companions of the Prophet (salalaahu alayi wa sallam). To the extent that he would sometimes collapse with hunger as if fainting. So I ask you by Allaah, is mention made of his name amongst people during our time or not? Yes indeed, greatly, theres a reward for Abu Hurayrah for the beneficial hadeeth he has narrated. So then, if knowledge remains and material things all come to an end, its upon you oh student/seeker of knowledge to firmly grasp knowledge. [from the document:Knowledge-by Shaykh Muhammad ibn Saalih al-Uthaymeen (raheemahhullaah)] Knowledge Illiminates Ignorance Linguistically: Knowledge eliminates ignorance, being a sure and firm comprehension of something. Technically: Some of the people of knowledge have said that knowledge is awareness, contrary to ignorance. Whilst others have stated that knowledge in and of itself is clear, (not needing a definition). That which concerns us here is Shareeah knowledge. Meaning by that, clear knowledge and guidance that has been sent down by Allaah upon His Prophet (salalaahu alayi wa sallam). The praiseworthy and admirable knowledge that facilitates knowledge of the religion, and the Prophet Muhammad (salalaahu alayi wa sallam), said that the Prophets do not leave behind Deenars or Dirhams, rather they bequeath knowledge. [Abu Dawood and at-Tirmidhi] Knowledge Is The Light Of Guidance [Sheikh ibn Uthaymeen mentions in his book: The Book Of Knowledge] There is no comparison between one who has knowledge and one who does not, just as there is no comparison between the living and the dead, and one who hears and one who is deaf, and one who can see and one who is blind. Knowledge is light with which one is guided, and with it removes one from the darkness (of ignorance) to the light (of knowledge) i.e. Islaam). With knowledge, Allaah raises the ranks of whom He wishes from His creation. Whoever treads a path in search of knowledge, Allaah will make easy for him the path to [Saheeh Muslim-The Book of Invitations] Adorn Yourself With Knowledge
To adorn yourself with the splendour of knowledge is to have beautiful manners, pious conduct, such as continuous peacefulness, awe humility, humbleness, adhesion to the Clear Path by filling ones outer and inner-self [with these qualities], and leaving all characteristics than oppose them. It was narrated that Ibn Seereen (raheemahullaah) said, they (i.e. the Salaf) used to learn manners as they would learn the knowledge. [page 28 Etiquette of seeking knowledge] .Say: Are those who know equal to those who know not? It is only men of understanding who will remember (that is get a lesson from Allaahs signs). [Surah az-Zumar (39):9]

CHANGE- Let's change the way we eat, the way we live and the way we treat each other. You see the old way wasn't working, so it's on us to do what we gotta do to survive.
