Okra and Rice prepared with onions and tomatoes served with Italian or Egyptian Rice.
Ingredients:
- Beef stew: 1/2 pound
- Corn Oil: 5 tablespoons
- Pepper: 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt: 1 teaspoon
- Onions: 1 Large
- Sugar: 1/2 teaspoon
- Garlic: 10 cloves
- Lemon: 1/4-1/2 cup
- Fresh peeled tomatoes: 2 medium
- Tomato paste: 1 small can
- Water: 1 cup
- Bamieh: 2-3 packs
- Corn Oil: 5 tablespoons
- Pepper: 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt: 1 teaspoon
- Onions: 1 Large

Preparation:
Fry beef stews in deep pan, add salt, pepper, onions.
- Dilute tomato paste with lemon juice and pour into pan after meat is half cooked.
- Add sugar, garlic, peeled tomatoes, water.
- Cover and boil for 45-60 minutes. Simmer over heat plate.
- Serve with cooked rice on the side and fresh onions.
