Siraj I. Mufti, Ph.D. (1973, University of Arizona) is a retired faculty from the University of Arizona and a retired chaplain from the U.S. Department of Justice. The tragedy of 9/11 affected Dr. Mufti greatly; almost every week he wrote articles on its grave consequences for Muslims in general, and American Muslims in particular.
The articles were published in local daily newspapers, online Islamic websites such as Islam Online, Islamicity.com, and iviews.com, and the websites of American Muslim organizations. They have also been printed in magazines such as American Muslim of the Muslim American Society (MAS) and Message International of the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA).
