Dr. Habib Hamidi graduated from Univercity of Cailifornia Los Angeles (UCLA) with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Biological Chemistry and a certificate in Bioinformatics. He also has Master of Public Health (MPH) from Loma Linda University.
Currently, he works as a cancer researcher at UCLA and other research institutions/companies. His current research focuses on cancer therapeutic and he is interested in identifying molecular subtypes within different histologies and using the information to predict responsiveness to therapy.
Dr. Hamidi is also active in the Muslim community in the greater Los Angeles area. He was an editor and contributor of Al-Talib Magazine that is owned by the Muslim Student Association of UCLA (MSA-UCLA).
