يَسْأَلُهُ مَن فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ هُوَ فِي شَأْنٍ (55:29)

Yasaluhu man fee alssamawati waalardi kulla yawmin huwa fee shanin

On Him depends all creatures in the heavens and on earth; [and] every day He manifests Himself in yet another [wondrous] way. - 55:29 (Asad) -

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ (55:30)

Which, then, of your Sustainerís powers can you disavow? - 55:30 (Asad) -   


 
Ar-Rahman (The Most Beneficent) - 55:31 
سَنَفْرُغُ لَكُمْ أَيُّهَا الثَّقَلَانِ (55:31)

Sanafrughu lakum ayyuha alththaqalani

[ONE DAY] We shall take you to task, O you sin-laden two! - 55:31 (Asad) -

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ (55:32)

Ar-Rahman (The Most Beneficent) - 55:33 
يَا مَعْشَرَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنسِ إِنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ أَن تَنفُذُوا مِنْ أَقْطَارِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ فَانفُذُوا لَا تَنفُذُونَ إِلَّا بِسُلْطَانٍ (55:33)

Ya maAAshara aljinni waalinsi ini istataAAtum an tanfuthoo min aqtari alssamawati waalardi faonfuthoo la tanfuthoona illa bisultanin

يُرْسَلُ عَلَيْكُمَا شُوَاظٌ مِّن نَّارٍ وَنُحَاسٌ فَلَا تَنتَصِرَانِ (55:35)

Yursalu AAalaykuma shuwathun min narin wanuhasun fala tantasirani

A flash of fire will be let loose upon you, and smoke, and you will be left without succour! - 55:35 (Asad) -

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ (55:36)

Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani

Which, then, of your Sustainerís powers can you disavow? - 55:36 (Asad) -

فَإِذَا انشَقَّتِ السَّمَاء فَكَانَتْ وَرْدَةً كَالدِّهَانِ (55:37)

Faitha inshaqqati alssamao fakanat wardatan kaalddihani

فَيَوْمَئِذٍ لَّا يُسْأَلُ عَن ذَنبِهِ إِنسٌ وَلَا جَانٌّ (55:39)

Fayawmaithin la yusalu AAan thanbihi insun wala jannun

فِيهِنَّ قَاصِرَاتُ الطَّرْفِ لَمْ يَطْمِثْهُنَّ إِنسٌ قَبْلَهُمْ وَلَا جَانٌّ (55:56)

Feehinna qasiratu alttarfi lam yatmithhunna insun qablahum wala jannun
