لَعَلَّكَ بَاخِعٌ نَّفْسَكَ أَلَّا يَكُونُوا مُؤْمِنِينَ (26:3)

LaAAallaka bakhiAAun nafsaka alla yakoonoo mumineena

إِن نَّشَأْ نُنَزِّلْ عَلَيْهِم مِّن السَّمَاء آيَةً فَظَلَّتْ أَعْنَاقُهُمْ لَهَا خَاضِعِينَ (26:4)

In nasha nunazzil AAalayhim mina alssamai ayatan fathallat aAAnaquhum laha khadiAAeena

If (such) were Our Will, We could send down to them from the sky a Sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. - 26:4 (Ali)

وَمَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن ذِكْرٍ مِّنَ الرَّحْمَنِ مُحْدَثٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا عَنْهُ مُعْرِضِينَ (26:5)

Wama yateehim min thikrin mina alrrahmani muhdathin illa kanoo AAanhu muAArideena

فَقَدْ كَذَّبُوا فَسَيَأْتِيهِمْ أَنبَاء مَا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُون (26:6)

Faqad kaththaboo fasayateehim anbao ma kanoo bihi yastahzioona

They have indeed rejected (the Message): so they will know soon (enough) the truth of what they mocked at! - 26:6 (Ali)

أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا إِلَى الْأَرْضِ كَمْ أَنبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ زَوْجٍ كَرِيمٍ (26:7)

Awalam yaraw ila alardi kam anbatna feeha min kulli zawjin kareemin

Fafarartu minkum lamma khiftukum fawahaba lee rabbee hukman wajaAAalanee mina almursaleena

يُرِيدُ أَن يُخْرِجَكُم مِّنْ أَرْضِكُم بِسِحْرِهِ فَمَاذَا تَأْمُرُونَ (26:35)

Yureedu an yukhrijakum min ardikum bisihrihi famatha tamuroona

Qaloo arjih waakhahu waibAAath fee almadaini hashireena

Waqeela lilnnasi hal antum mujtamiAAoona

LaAAallana nattabiAAu alssaharata in kanoo humu alghalibeena

فَلَمَّا جَاء السَّحَرَةُ قَالُوا لِفِرْعَوْنَ أَئِنَّ لَنَا لَأَجْرًا إِن كُنَّا نَحْنُ الْغَالِبِينَ (26:41)

Falamma jaa alssaharatu qaloo lifirAAawna ainna lana laajran in kunna nahnu alghalibeena

So when the sorcerers arrived, they said to Pharaoh: "Of course - shall we have a (suitable) reward if we win? - 26:41 (Ali)

قَالَ نَعَمْ وَإِنَّكُمْ إِذًا لَّمِنَ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ (26:42)

Qala naAAam wainnakum ithan lamina almuqarrabeena

Faalqaw hibalahum waAAisiyyahum waqaloo biAAizzati firAAawna inna lanahnu alghaliboona

Walaw nazzalnahu AAala baAAdi alaAAjameena

Had We revealed it to any of the non-Arabs, - 26:198 (Ali)   


 
Ash-Shu'ara (The Poets) - 26:199 
فَقَرَأَهُ عَلَيْهِم مَّا كَانُوا بِهِ مُؤْمِنِينَ (26:199)

Faqaraahu AAalayhim ma kanoo bihi mumineena

And had he recited it to them, they would not have believed in it. - 26:199 (Ali)   


 
Ash-Shu'ara (The Poets) - 26:200 
كَذَلِكَ سَلَكْنَاهُ فِي قُلُوبِ الْمُجْرِمِينَ (26:200)

Basit -   Hussari -   Minshawi -  f

Kathalika salaknahu fee quloobi almujrimeena

Thus have We caused it to enter the hearts of the sinners. - 26:200 (Ali)   


 
Ash-Shu'ara (The Poets) - 26:201 
لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ حَتَّى يَرَوُا الْعَذَابَ الْأَلِيمَ (26:201)

Basit -   Hussari -   Minshawi -  f

La yuminoona bihi hatta yarawoo alAAathaba alaleema

They will not believe in it until they see the grievous Penalty; - 26:201 (Ali)   


 
Ash-Shu'ara (The Poets) - 26:202 
فَيَأْتِيَهُم بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ (26:202)

Basit -   Hussari -   Minshawi -  f

Fayatiyahum baghtatan wahum la yashAAuroona

But the (Penalty) will come to them of a sudden, while they perceive it not; - 26:202 (Ali)   


 
Ash-Shu'ara (The Poets) - 26:203 
فَيَقُولُوا هَلْ نَحْنُ مُنظَرُونَ (26:203)

Basit -   Hussari -   Minshawi -  f

Fayaqooloo hal nahnu muntharoona

Then they will say: "Shall we be respited?" - 26:203 (Ali)   


 
Ash-Shu'ara (The Poets) - 26:204 
أَفَبِعَذَابِنَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونَ (26:204)

Basit -   Hussari -   Minshawi -  f

AfabiAAathabina yastaAAjiloona

Do they then ask for Our Penalty to be hastened on? - 26:204 (Ali)   


 
Ash-Shu'ara (The Poets) - 26:205 
أَفَرَأَيْتَ إِن مَّتَّعْنَاهُمْ سِنِينَ (26:205)

Basit -   Hussari -   Minshawi -  f

Afaraayta in mattaAAnahum sineena

Seest thou? If We do let them enjoy (this life) for a few years, - 26:205 (Ali)   


 
Ash-Shu'ara (The Poets) - 26:206 
ثُمَّ جَاءهُم مَّا كَانُوا يُوعَدُونَ (26:206)

Basit -   Hussari -   Minshawi -  f

Thumma jaahum ma kanoo yooAAadoona

Yet there comes to them at length the (Punishment) which they were promised! - 26:206 (Ali)   


 
Ash-Shu'ara (The Poets) - 26:207 
مَا أَغْنَى عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا يُمَتَّعُونَ (26:207)

Basit -   Hussari -   Minshawi -  f

Ma aghna AAanhum ma kanoo yumattaAAoona

It will profit them not that they enjoyed (this life)! - 26:207 (Ali)   


 
Ash-Shu'ara (The Poets) - 26:208 
وَمَا أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَرْيَةٍ إِلَّا لَهَا مُنذِرُونَ (26:208)

Basit -   Hussari -   Minshawi -  f

Wama ahlakna min qaryatin illa laha munthiroona

Never did We destroy a population, but had its warners - - 26:208 (Ali)   


 
Ash-Shu'ara (The Poets) - 26:209 
ذِكْرَى وَمَا كُنَّا ظَالِمِينَ (26:209)

Basit -   Hussari -   Minshawi -  f

Thikra wama kunna thalimeena

By way of reminder; and We never are unjust. - 26:209 (Ali)   


 
Ash-Shu'ara (The Poets) - 26:210 
وَمَا تَنَزَّلَتْ بِهِ الشَّيَاطِينُ (26:210)

Basit -   Hussari -   Minshawi -  f

Wama tanazzalat bihi alshshayateenu

No evil ones have brought down this (Revelation): - 26:210 (Ali)   


 
Ash-Shu'ara (The Poets) - 26:211 
وَمَا يَنبَغِي لَهُمْ وَمَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ (26:211)

Basit -   Hussari -   Minshawi -  f

Wama yanbaghee lahum wama yastateeAAoona

It would neither suit them nor would they be able (to produce it). - 26:211 (Ali)   


 
Ash-Shu'ara (The Poets) - 26:212 
إِنَّهُمْ عَنِ السَّمْعِ لَمَعْزُولُونَ (26:212)

Basit -   Hussari -   Minshawi -  f

Innahum AAani alssamAAi lamaAAzooloona

Indeed they have been removed far from even (a chance of) hearing it. - 26:212 (Ali)   


 
Ash-Shu'ara (The Poets) - 26:213 
فَلَا تَدْعُ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَهًا آخَرَ فَتَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُعَذَّبِينَ (26:213)

Basit -   Hussari -   Minshawi -  f

Fala tadAAu maAAa Allahi ilahan akhara fatakoona mina almuAAaththabeena

So call not on any other god with Allah, or thou wilt be among those under the Penalty. - 26:213 (Ali)   


 
Ash-Shu'ara (The Poets) - 26:214 
وَأَنذِرْ عَشِيرَتَكَ الْأَقْرَبِينَ (26:214)

Waanthir AAasheerataka alaqrabeena

وَاخْفِضْ جَنَاحَكَ لِمَنِ اتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ (26:215)

Basit -   Hussari -   Minshawi -  f

Waikhfid janahaka limani ittabaAAaka mina almumineena

And lower thy wing to the Believers who follow thee. - 26:215 (Ali)

فَإِنْ عَصَوْكَ فَقُلْ إِنِّي بَرِيءٌ مِّمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ (26:216)

Basit -   Hussari -   Minshawi -  f

Fain AAasawka faqul innee bareeon mimma taAAmaloona

Then if they disobey thee, say: "I am free (of responsibility) for what ye do!" - 26:216 (Ali)

وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى الْعَزِيزِ الرَّحِيمِ (26:217)

Watawakkal AAala alAAazeezi alrraheemi

Hal onabbiokum AAala man tanazzalu alshshayateenu

Tanazzalu AAala kulli affakin atheemin

Yulqoona alssamAAa waaktharuhum kathiboona

وَالشُّعَرَاء يَتَّبِعُهُمُ الْغَاوُونَ (26:224)

WaalshshuAAarao yattabiAAuhumu alghawoona

And the Poets,- It is those straying in Evil, who follow them: - 26:224 (Ali)

أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّهُمْ فِي كُلِّ وَادٍ يَهِيمُونَ (26:225)

Basit -   Hussari -   Minshawi -  f

Alam tara annahum fee kulli wadin yaheemoona

وَأَنَّهُمْ يَقُولُونَ مَا لَا يَفْعَلُونَ (26:226)

Waannahum yaqooloona ma la yafAAaloona

Ash-Shu'ara (The Poets) - 26:227 
إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَذَكَرُوا اللَّهَ كَثِيرًا وَانتَصَرُوا مِن بَعْدِ مَا ظُلِمُوا وَسَيَعْلَمُ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا أَيَّ مُنقَلَبٍ يَنقَلِبُونَ (26:227)

Basit -   Hussari -   Minshawi -  f

Illa allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati wathakaroo Allaha katheeran waintasaroo min baAAdi ma thulimoo wasayaAAlamu allatheena thalamoo ayya munqalabin yanqaliboona

Except those who believe, work righteousness, engage much in the remembrance of Allah, and defend themselves only after they are unjustly attacked. And soon will the unjust assailants know what vicissitudes their affairs will take! - 26:227 (Ali)
