Helping Hand for Relief and Development Winter Campaign Spans Twenty Countries
The Gaza project is part of HHRD's global Winter Relief Campaign, which will target hundreds of thousands of people across twenty countries. HHRD plans to invest $500,000 in locally relevant relief items worldwide.

Winter Conditions Threaten Gaza Families
Winter in Gaza, from December to February, brings cold nights, heavy rain, strong winds, and flooding in low-lying camp areas. Tents and damaged buildings offer little protection, and heating fuel is scarce and expensive. In previous winters, humanitarian agencies have reported hypothermia among infants and children, and respiratory illnesses rise sharply in the cold season.

Helping Hand for Relief and Development's Humanitarian Work in Gaza Since 2013
Helping Hand for Relief and Development has been working in Gaza and the West Bank since 2013, providing medical supplies, school lunches, food and winter relief items to more than 640,000 people before the war began in October 2023.
Since 2023, HHRD has provided clean drinking water, daily hot meals, tents, medical supplies, and in-kind donations to civilians living in a war zone. This Winter Relief Campaign is its latest effort and will be carried out in partnership with established emergency relief and disaster management organizations.
HHRD is fundraising for Gaza and for other countries in need of winter assistance.
