Gaza continues to face a humanitarian emergency. Widespread displacement, food insecurity, damaged infrastructure, and limited access to clean water and medical care have left countless families struggling to survive. As the crisis stretches into 2026, the need for sustained, reliable aid remains critical.
Through the compassion and generosity of its supporters, Helping Hand for Relief and Development (HHRD) has reached over 750,000 people across Gaza, delivering more than $14.3 million in lifesaving humanitarian assistance. From emergency food distributions and clean water deliveries to shelter support and medical aid, HHRD's response has been guided by faith, humanity, and a deep commitment to serving the most vulnerable.

Key initiatives include operating three multipurpose community centers that provide daily access to food, clean water, and basic health services. To maintain a steady flow of aid, HHRD has coordinated 79 aid trucks from Jordan, seven from Egypt, and 10 containers from the United States, delivering essential supplies to affected families.
Recent updates from HHRD underscore the ongoing urgency of food assistance. In a social media post, the organization stated that, although a new year has begun, hunger in Gaza has not stopped. On a single day, 2,230 hot meals were prepared for displaced families who depend on daily food distributions to survive.
As winter conditions intensify, families already facing displacement are also battling freezing temperatures. In response, HHRD continues to provide winter relief, offering warmth, protection, and dignity to those enduring harsh conditions with limited shelter.
