AG Pam Bondi is suing Jerusalem Coffee House (JCH) for adding a new drink to its menu named Sweet Sinwar.

I don't remember a single day since AG Pam Bondi took office when she hasn’t been in front of a camera, either threatening or warning someone. I can't recall any previous attorney general who spent even close to that amount of time on air shaking their fist.

Her latest publicity stunt is suing JCH in Oakland, whose owner is of Palestinian descent. She accused the café of “celebrating” former Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, who was killed last October in a gun battle with the IDF in Khan Younis.

The drink Sweet Sinwar was created to honor the Hamas commander. Bondi said on Fox News:

“You can't do that. And so, we've sued them, and we're going to stop this from happening. And anywhere in the country, if you do this, we're coming after you.”

Really? My advice to AG Bondi: if the name offends you or anyone else, don’t go to Jerusalem Coffee House. We live in America — not North Korea. Whatever happened to President Trump's supposed support for free speech and the right to protest, which are fundamental to our democracy?

Now AG Bondi, along with media opportunist Jonathan Greenblatt — head of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) — have also sued JCH, separately claiming that the café banned a Jewish customer, Jonathan Hirsch, simply for being Jewish.

But neither of them told us what actually happened: the customer entered JCH wearing a hat with a Star of David, then began harassing patrons at the back of the restaurant while voicing support for the genocide in Gaza. Those actions — not his religion — prompted owner Abdulrahim Harara, originally from Gaza, to remove him.

Again I ask: where’s that Trump-backed free speech now?

Trump himself recently renamed Fort Liberty back to Fort Bragg. Isn’t that offensive to some? Would Pammy ban the Confederate Flag (CF)? Many Americans believe the CF is offensive and provocative.

Would AG Bondi also object if JCH added the following drinks to its menu?

• Genocide Joe – for President Biden’s blind, unconditional support of Israel’s actions in Gaza.
• Half & Half – for King Abdullah of Jordan, who is half Jordanian, half British, and a long-time supporter of Israel.
• Sour Sisi – for Egypt’s General Sisi, who aided Israel’s illegal and inhumane siege of Gaza.
• MTG Shocker – for U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who said: “Americans don’t want to bomb Iran for the government of Israel.” That’s what “putting America first” truly means.

Funny—I don’t recall Merrick Garland ever saying anything this inflammatory about Biden. Meanwhile, Bondi is out here declaring Trump the greatest president of all time without ever explaining how. Was it the horribleness? The corruption? The dishonesty? The felonies? The endless hypocrisy?

Bondi is laying down some serious brown-nosing, likely because Americans are fed up with her slack performance. People call for her replacement daily on X. The "Epstein List" fiasco was bad enough: she made a big show of releasing documents that had already been online for years, embarrassing herself in the process. Since then, she’s just been tagging along with the FBI and ICE to nab low-hanging fruit or doing Fox interviews like she’s auditioning for the Supreme Court.

Pam Bondi should be in her office — in the Halls of Justice — pursuing cases against corrupt politicians, judges, and criminals. Yet:

• Not one missing migrant child has been found.
• Epstein Island victims are still begging for unredacted files.
• No official has been arrested for corruption revealed by DOJ investigations.
• No politician has faced consequences for documented lawfare or international crimes.

It must be exhausting rehearsing your lines all night, Pam — just to avoid offending your king, while targeting immigrants, U.S. citizens, and international students who oppose the genocide and starvation of Gaza.

AG Bondi should also know that Commander Yahya Sinwar was not even buried physically — the IDF took his body, violating not only Islamic burial law but also Jewish burial law, which requires burial within 24 hours of death.

I should add that Sinwar was no hero made of paper. He was a brave warrior who fought to his last breath so that Gaza might live. For that reason, Jerusalem Coffee House honored him by naming a drink after him.

May God have mercy on his soul.
