The Agonist Coffee Shop is staffed entirely by individuals with disabilities, a groundbreaking initiative spearheaded by owner Wassim Al-Hajj. As a physiotherapist, Al-Hajj recognized the need to provide people with disabilities an opportunity to be productive and valued members of society.
With studies showing that 80% of disabled individuals in Lebanon face unemployment, this café is not just serving drinks, but also offering hope, purpose, and a place where everyone's worth is recognized.
