Asak I am asking the professional advice from islamic a'lims , i have done many wrong things with a girl who is my neighbour, i now feel bad of that and i want to do some thing for that. but her father dont want me to marry her because he thought that we were only friends.. i'm now thinking that whether i have to tell every thing to her father or not? please give me good piece of advice within the limits of shariah ------------- Althaf |

there is no need to tell 'everyone' about ur sins.I used the word 'everyone' cauze if u tell her father then it will be like telling the whole world....it depends whether he will forgive or not. Rather repent by heart...turn back towards Allah(swt) and make sure u dont commit more sins....Prophet(pbuh) said follow your bad deeds by good one. The thing is that he also wanted me to marry he for a long time and now as we two have parted after a small quarell he also dont want because she dont like to disobey her father... any way i think that if im not telling this to her father in this duniya , when every thing will be told in akhira they may curse me and ask me why i havnt told him all that? i fear akhira more now a days.... i hope he will surely forgive ass his history is also full of sins... ------------- Althaf |

Bi ismillahir rahmanir raheem assalamu alaikum Does the Girl want to marry you? If so ask her to tell her farther she would like to do so and make a sincere effort to fulfill the farthers requests if he is willing. Try as much as posible to fulfill your obligation to this Girl which is marriage. but if she does not wish to marry you then no blame is on you for not saying this to here farther since you can not force the girl to marry you even becouse of this. i would not advise using this as a means of amriage, if the girl is willing try your best to change the farhters mind about you the girl herself would be good at this, also her mother. Stay silent about this matter if you do not end up marying her becouse this would be a great sin if you reveal this about the girl. ------------- Rasul Allah (sallah llahu alaihi wa sallam) said: "Whoever knows himself, knows his Lord" and whoever knows his Lord has been given His gnosis and nearness. |
