http://www.risale-inur.com.tr/rnk/eng/tarihce/bsn.htm - Said Dreams of the Prophet (PBUH)

That winter Said spent in Nurs. In the course of it, he had a powerful dream which impelled him to return to his studies. It was like this: it was the Last Day and the Resurrection was taking place. Said felt a desire to visit the Prophet Muhammed (PBUH). While wondering how he could achieve this, it occurred to him to go and sit by the Bridge of Sirat, because everyone has to pass over it. While the Prophet is passing, he thought, I shall meet him and kiss his hand. So he went and sat by the Bridge and there met with all the prophets and kissed their hands. Finally, the Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) came. Said kissed his hands and asked for knowledge from him. The Prophet said: "Knowledge of the Qur'an will be given you on condition you ask no questions of any of my community." Upon which Said awoke in a state of great excitement. And indeed, he thereafter made it a personal rule never to ask questions of other scholars. Even when he went to Istanbul, he adhered to it; he only ever answered questions put to him.

yeah, i admire his books, though i get them roughly cause of old osmanic language. his first book (The words) helped me much the days of my stresses, first days when confusing much in religional stuffs. really, wonderful. i guess osmanic language is already from arabic. because it helped me much when learning reading koran(arabic).
and i think i'm trying to remember turkish just because of His books.

my god, and Hadith on your notes under sparkled my eyes: "Whoever knows himself, knows his Lord". yeah, how helpless we are.

Peace my dear Rami,

Please sincerely not perpetuate the wrong use of ALAIHI SALAM (PEACE BE UPON HIM OR PBUH) on our Noble Messenger, sallallahu alaihi wasallam (S.A.W) or May Allah bless and grant him peace...after getting this clarification.

The saying or greeting of peace (PBUH) on all other Prophets are correct.

Normally, the muslims ask Allah Taala to bless the Prophet, so the most common prayer of peace is ' Allahumma salli ala Muhammad'. Do not be confused with - Alaihi Salam.

This kind of prayer may seems small and subtle but many missed it real meanings and fine adab. May Allah guide us on the correct Path and perfect our adab toward His Beloved Rasul sallallau alaihi wasallam.
