You graphically highlight the continuing expansionism of the Israeli government (Report, October 18). In his August report, the UN special rapporteur, John Dugard, described Israel's illegal settlement expansion and construction of the illegal wall as "de-Palestinisation" of Jerusalem, creating a "closed zone" between the wall and the 1967 green line. Israel's flouting of international law will be discussed by a panel of international lawyers on Saturday at our conference Palestine, Israel and the Law.
