Just saw this - and so far, its getting NO attention. �New York Police Department has secretly labeled entire mosques as terrorism organizations, a designation that allows police to use informants to record sermons and spy on imams, often without specific evidence of criminal wrongdoing. Designating an entire mosque as a terrorism enterprise means that anyone who attends prayer services there is a potential subject of an investigation and fair game for surveillance.� Of course, no Mosque in New York City has ever been implicated in Terrorism. This is pure discrimination, clear and simple, by a police department that wants to spread it tentacles to spy on all Muslims in the city, clearly violating not only privacy laws, but also civil rights. | With some issues I can't sign the petition but please convey my message to nypd that to judge islam first they should read Quran it says on ch 5 v 32-Allah says if u kill an innocent human being unless for murder or creating mischief in land as if u have killed whole humanity, if u save an innocent human being as if u have save the whole humanity, in ch 28 v 83 Allah says that Allah will grant home of hereafter to those who do not want mischief in the land.so how nypd can spy on imams who r the preachers of peace, plz convey this message. |

In Germany, since 911, mosques are routinely checked by undercover agents to prevent hate preachers from spreading evil messages directed against the German constitution. As the result, Germans now know that more than 99.9% of all cases at mosques Islam is taught as a peaceful religion. The problem isn't New York mosques. | The problem lies with a vitriolic "narrative" and as such, can show up anywhere; Nairobi, Bali, London, New York, or Karachi Pakistan. Ideological battles are won with arguments, that will at the very least, marginalize terrorist and radicals, and hopefully lead them back to proper religious beliefs and practice. |
