Sometimes Allah SWT allows pain so we can be stronger. Sometimes He sends failure so we can be humble.

You right and I found that out the hard way. When I took the medication even for flue, and the flue occurrence seem getting closer and closer. So I decided to stop taking pills altogether and stayed in bed for almost a month (for simple flue) and tough it out. Since then I don't bother with pills unless if it is serious and I have to. But Alhamdulillah 20 years has passed with no problem.
