In our modern age, a new type of Quranic interpretation has become popular, known by the term "Scientific Interpretation of the Quran."

What is meant by this term is the kind of interpretation which benefits from "modern cosmic sciences", and uses its facts and theories to highlight the objectives of the Quran, and explain its true meanings.

"Cosmic Sciences" include natural sciences, earth sciences (geology), chemistry, life sciences (biology) of plants and animals, medicine, and anatomy, and physiology, mathematical science, and all similar and related sciences.

"Cosmic Sciences" may also include some human and social sciences such as psychology, sociology, economics, geography and others.

Those who pursue this type of interpretation and are its passionate advocates are often cosmologists and natural scientists, not the scholars of religion or Shariah (Islamic law).

As for the scholars of religion and Shariah, they differ among themselves on the permissibility of this type of interpretation, especially how lawful it is.

There are and will always be different people with differing opinions, and one party will always boast as the right one while everyone else are wrong. And there was time when I was one of that kind. Along the long path I came to conclusion that it is I that decide what is right and what is wrong.

I have seen what people don't see in the Qur'an and I came to certainty Muhammad did not write the book let alone invent it. But for those who are trained to say otherwise will fail to see the impossibility of writing it. On the opposite side those who are against seeking the scientific interpretation of it are kind of chess piece moving on a chess board. They are all do for what they believe in albeit reluctant. They fear of hell and they all want to be rewarded with lollies for what they do. The word "Ikhlas" is flower of speech, I don't think the muslims know what it is. Here is good example of the science works in the Qur'an:

And if there was any qur'an by which the mountains would be removed or the earth would be broken apart or the dead would be made to speak, [it would be this Qur'an], but to Allah belongs the affair entirely. Then have those who believed not accepted that had Allah willed, He would have guided the people, all of them? And those who disbelieve do not cease to be struck, for what they have done, by calamity - or it will descend near their home - until there comes the promise of Allah . Indeed, Allah does not fail in [His] promise.

We know from the Christians as well as from the Qur'an itself that the son of Mary (Jesus) referred as WORD. And that word can do amazing things, such bringing dead to life. And this verse is verse 31 from Chapter 13, that is 13:31 = One Three Three One. But people can't see this, they are trained to nod to their superiors whoever they are.

Going further down in this same Chapter at the last verse it says:

And those who have disbelieved say, "You are not a messenger." Say, [O Muhammad], "Sufficient is Allah as Witness between me and you, and [the witness of] whoever has knowledge of the Scripture. (13:43)

Using the numbers you can pin point who was that person above and what kind of knowledge he had. And there is no other tools to go further up, there is no knowledge above it. Very simple knowledge to live for the true believer yet it the hardest knowledge to implement.

To me scientific interpretation of the Quran means reading it with the historical context in mind.

"Modern higher criticism is just beginning for the Qur'an. This scholarship questions some traditional claims about its composition and content, contending that the Qur'an incorporates material from both the Hebrew Bible and the New Testament; however, other scholars argue that it cites examples from previous texts, as the New Testament did to the Old Testament. Attempts at higher criticism of the Qur'an have met with hostility and resistance among traditional Islamic scholars, who contend that using the methods of higher criticism either implies that the Qur'an was written by human beings�a position incompatible with the generally accepted tenet that the Qur'an is the literal word of God revealed to Muhammad�or that the Qur'an was created, a position held by the Mu'tazili school of early Islam but rejected by the Ash'ari school that forms the basis for mainstream Islamic thought today. Attempts to resolve the issue or sidestep it, such as Nasr Abu Zayd's attempt to treat the Qur'an as a divinely revealed text in the human Arabic language and thus subject to higher criticism and hermeneutics, have not been widely accepted."
