Salaam Alaikum. Out of curiousity, what foods or substances does Islam say people are not allowed to eat? I know that alcohol is banned, as is pork. What are other foods that may not be eaten in any circumstance? Shukran wa Allahma3k.  |

In addition to pork, Muslims cannot eat blood, carrion and any carnivores, except for those which live in the ocean. In addition, we cannot eat anything that has been prepared in the name of other deities.
