| My name is, Alta Christine Hayes-Seamon. I am from Hitchita, Oklahoma of the United States of America. I am thirty two yrs. old, and have been interested in religion since I was just a little girl. I don't claim to be of any particular religion, but I do believe that there is one true God, I believe that he is the creator of all things living. I believe in respect, discipline, love, faith, and unity of the human race. I have been curious of all religions, some, I partially agreed with, some, I could not, and some that have intrigued me to certain emotional depths. The one thing that I have concluded in all my research, is that there is a certain need and want in all regions and societies, to find a greater meaning of life, and love, and a greater understanding of who we really are ,and why we are here. I have now ventured upon that of the Islamic faith, and, once again, I am intrigued and want to know more. Some religions have tried, vigorously, to push their faiths on me, and that in turn, pushed me away from it. just so you know, I am just a woman, researching and discovering all faiths and religions. I know little of the the Holy Quran, and would like to know more,if you would allow me too. Thank you, and may the Creator bless you in many ways in your lives on this System of things, on Earth. |

Hello Christine !!! Welcome to IC forums. So glad you found your way here :). Praise be to the Lord - for we (muslims) have that in common with you - we also believe in the "One True God" the Creator of all things  I am sure you will have many questions once you look around the forums, so feel free to do so, and do ask if you have any queries. .
